Here at Lyness Accountancy Practice Limited we believe that every business has the power to change lives.
To make life better for your customers, your team and their families by the work you do. And also to make life better for people we may never meet, and in places we may never travel to.
Every time we agree to act for a new client we will give nutritious meals to disadvantaged children and young families living in the most deprived areas of the UK for 1 month and 1825 days of access to life saving clean water to families in Ethiopia.
Making life better locally
On your behalf, we’ve supported the wonderful work done locally and nationally by many charities including Acorns hospices, Cancer research , Barnado’s and Limbcare a charity specifically set up to help provide a better quality of life for all amputees inspired by the fantastic Ray Edwards MBE.
And thanks to our friends, customers, team and families, we’ve done that through a mix of sponsors hip, pro bono work and fund raising including our charity golf days that raised in excess of £100,000 for these charities.
But we don’t want to stop there.
Making life better globally
We want to incorporate even greater purpose and meaning into what we do together. And we want to play our part in helping to make the world a better place for us all by achieving the UN Global Goals for humanity.
So that, together, we can end global poverty.

Our big promise to you and to the world
Just by doing what we normally do together, your business and ours, you’ll also automatically be helping others in wonderful ways.
When we file your accounts, we will provide 30 days worth of grain seeds to nourish children in Malawi.

Before we started doing all of this this we were proud of our charity work but wanted to do more which is why we have joined B1G1 to have a positive impact around the world.
